I am proud to be an Iowan. I am thankful for the Iowa values of honesty, integrity, faith and hard work that my parents instilled in me growing up in Iowa. I am committed to fighting for continued economic growth, lower taxes, quality education and teaching our children and grandchildren those values that truly make Iowa a better place to live and grow. When I left active duty with the military, we could have chosen to live anywhere in the United States, but we wanted to return to Iowa to live and raise our family. We moved to Altoona over 30 years ago and I am proud to call this my home. I am also proud of Iowa’s rich heritage and the people before us that taught us our independence, self-reliance, work ethic and genuine concern for our neighbors and our communities. I proudly fought and served our country for over 28 years and now I am asking for your vote and the privilege to represent and serve the people of eastern Polk County.
